From the North.....
From M6 Junction 40 (Penrith)
Take exit for A66 Scotch Corner
at next roundabout take 4th exit for A6 Shap
continue to Eamont Bridge
at mini roundabout turn right for Yanwath
at Yanwath take the left fork for Askham
in the centre of Askham turn into Helton Road
carry on through Butterwick
proceed for 4 miles to Bampton
at Bampton turn left and cross bridge to Bampton Grange
The Crown & Mitre is on the left opposite the church

From the South.....
From M6 Junction 39 (Shap)
drop down hill and turn right for Shap
at end of village take left fork for Haweswater
continue for 4 miles to Bampton Grange
